There are just some things that you need to do at least once during your lifetime. For some, that could be visiting the pyramids in Egypt or the Grand Canyon. We humbly suggest that you add ziplining in BC to your bucket list.
Of all the things to do in BC, ziplining ranks as one of the most exciting. In particular, Mineral Mountain Ziplines, located near Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, has a lot to offer.
Location, Location, Location
Tucked away in the Columbia Valley, Mineral Mountain is right in the middle of a recreational paradise. It is surrounded by:
- Sparkling lakes
- Breathtaking scenery
- Championship golf courses
- Soothing hot springs
Our zipline course gives you a terrific vantage point to take in the majestic backdrop of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains.
Something for Everyone
We want ziplining to be accessible to everyone. You don’t have to be a super-fit athlete or a daring adventurer. As long as you meet the weight limitations (between 50 and 265 pounds), and you have the courage to take that first plunge off the platform, you can do it. It’s that easy.
Soaring Safely
Of course, ziplining in BC wouldn’t be all that appealing if it wasn’t fun and safe. To ensure this, we use a pair of highly trained guides (they’re also very entertaining) and high-quality safety harnesses for every tour we conduct.
Accommodation

- Chalets
- Cabins

You can make your stay as rustic or as lavish as you choose.
Other Things to Do
Our zipline tour will take you roughly two hours, depending on the number of people in your group. That leaves a lot of time to check out some of the other exciting things to do in the area.
Right next door to us is the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. In addition to a relaxing soak in a mineral pool, they also offer a range of activities, including:
- Golf
- Kayak tours
- Fishing
- Horseback riding
If you have time to venture a little further, we highly recommend Kootenay River Runners, a whitewater-rafting outfit located just north of Invermere. They access a trio of rivers—ranging from ‘mild to wild’— including:
- Toby Creek
- Kicking Horse River
- Kootenay River
If you’d rather stick to dry land, then Toby Creek Adventures might be more your speed. They offer a range of ATV tours, as well as snowmobile tours in winter. They’re located in Panorama Mountain Village, near Invermere.
